Front door
The housing nightmare is officially over! A deposit is down for a new-build on a new street in Copperas Cove! We even met a neighbor who gave us a run-down of everyone on the street and the back entrance to Ft. Hood. We drove up on Friday with plans of putting down a deposit on a duplex in Harker Heights. It was decent but was missing a couple of things like a fenced-in yard. I saw another place online and received an email saying I could go by and see it that day. We decided to grab the Harker Height duplex's key so it couldn't be rented and headed over to see the Copperas Cove place. This place literally had it all. Right down to the linen closet and new carpet smell. Perfect.

The little details throughout the place are really pretty too.
Kitchen
Master. A ceiling fan is an absolute must for me! I go crazy without the noise.
Yard! The most important feature for our little baby, Madison.
Overall, we both love it. We love the location and we're planning on not having to move for our entire duration at Ft. Hood. I'm so excited to have this whole process over with. We pick up the keys on Monday. After making the deposit, we decided to try El Chico's since I saw it off the highway. We both loved the queso and the rest of the food was decent. Best of all, we got free sopapillas for being new customers! Talk about a good day, right? To any of the ladies from Ft. Hood, if you ever feel the need for El Chico's or any other TexMex, please don't hesitate to call me!
Love, Heather
