I'm back! Even though for once I have actually had spare time to update, it never seems to cross my mind. I moved to a one bedroom apartment. It's the first time that I've lived by myself but Madison is definitely making it easy. I never really feel lonely. The two good friends that I have left in town (at least until they graduate) live literally seconds from me so I'm happy with my current situation. I would much rather be with Zack but I like to look at the positives. We're getting married in a little less than 7 months and withing a month or two after the wedding, he's going to deploy. At that point I will have one more year of nursing school. He'll probably get back 2 months before I graduate because it's a shorter deployment. So, it's kind of like not living together before marriage and then he's deploying. This way I don't have to blame nursing school.
I'm officially registered for my first nursing classes and have a big portion of wedding planning done. In September, I'm going wedding dress shopping and will hopefully find a dress! I hope I find a dress at the first shop. I'm not the kind of girl who wants to try on every dress in the state. Forget that. We upgraded to a bigger room at our venue. Our old room (which, by the way, was unique and gorgeous) held max 100 guests. My parents added a bunch of people which sent our guest list up to 140 and we still felt like we couldn't invite everyone that we wanted to. The new room is still unique, although not the the extent as the other room. It has vaulted ceilings, windows from floor-to-ceiling on 3 walls, a wrap-around terrace, and holds a whopping 250 guests so we definitely won't have any problems. Our anniversary was this past week and we had a little date night.
Zack got me some beautiful roses! He didn't know that the pink ones will actually be one of the flowers we use in the wedding!
He has limited bakewear so I made him Funfetti cookies (which I didn't even know existed)
Some kid was selling 1st Cav cookies. So cute!
Well I think that's pretty much my life right now. I'm living by myself, attempting to plan a wedding, and starting nursing school in two weeks.
Love, Heather
